Mizfits Form Partnership With Nashville Elite

NASHVILLE, TN- The Music City Mizfits and the Nashville Elite Amateur Football teams have agreed to become partners for the 2018 season, owners from both teams announced this morning. This unique partnership will see both sides benefit, both on the field and off. “I’m excited,” said Mizfits owner Donita Hines, “The Nashville Elite shares a lot of the same visions and goals that we do, so it’s going to be great for both teams.” This partnership will allow both teams to share strategic ideas for marketing, internet presence, and community awareness. In addition, both teams have agreed to make appearances at the others events, such as games and neighborhood outreach events. Nashville Elite owner Tahnesia Richmond says, “I’m looking forward to working with the Mizfits!”

The Nashville Elite is a community-based, football organization designed to provide a platform to showcase young, exceptional football talent in the Nashville area. Men, aged 18 years or older, will be able to take full advantage of the program’s resources and networks in order to propel their careers to the next level, whether it be on the collegiate or professional level. Unlike other organizations, Nashville Elite is unique in that it takes great pride in giving back to our communities. In addition to providing an opportunity to play full-contact football, our organization also allows our athletes to be mentored by seasoned football veterans and also provide mentoring to younger athletes. We believe that this collaborative interaction will not only help strengthen our community but also offer hope to those young men who are seriously considering a career in football, but may not have had the grades or guidance beyond the high school level. “We Strive to be SUPERIOR!”

The Music City Mizfits were founded by a husband and wife in order to empower women through fitness and teamwork. The Mizfits play entertaining, high quality tackle football in the Women’s Football Alliance. They give women an opportunity to break down barriers by playing a game normally reserved for men. The team gives an opportunity to share their love of the game with different demographics, especially the next generation of young ladies who may want to play football. They are Middle Tennessee’s only women’s tackle football team. Just completing their second season of play, they are proud to represent Nashville in the Women’s Football Alliance, the largest women’s league in the world. They play full pads, full contact football and travel the country to promote women playing what is traditionally a “man’s” game. They want to show people they can play high level football too! They want to give women another platform to get physically fit and to display their talents.
